Stawell Pioneers Soccer Club
Founded in 2018
Located in the heart of the Grampians the Stawell Pioneers soccer club was established in 2018 taking to the field for the first time in 2019. Jason Oosthuizen and Benjami Iseppi decided to start something new for the community and the younger generation, to improve an active lifestyle and give the youth a new option to be apart of a supporting club we like to call a family, "this wasn't built so Ben or myself could play soccer. It's about bringing the community together of all beliefs, religions, genders or nationalities. To help break down any barriers that may exist because, after all it is called the world game."

A word from Jason Oosthuizen
Presidents Blog The Stawell Pioneers SC currently have two teams U12 and Seniors. Soon we will be conducting soccer clinics at the local high school targeting years 7,8 and 9 so we can look to introduce U14's and also U16's this is a goal I would love to achieve and I'm sure the rest of the club does too. The youth is the strongest point in keeping a club running being able to provide youths with opportunities in playing, leadership, refereeing, volunteering and coaching. With the rise in youth teams and Participation we will also need assistance. With the successful grant application from Vichealth we look to use that money to attract more female Participation in to the club and welcome anyone who wants to be apart of SPSC, from committee positions to help ensure we can run this club to the best possible future to, playing in teams learning refereeing and even coaching. We welcome your input and assistance. Come on board and help us achieve the common goal. -Jason Oosthuizen
